The cozy Steinplan shelter in the immediate vicinity of the summit invites you to linger - both hikers and mountain bikers enjoy this magnificent panorama on the sun terrace.

With its 1.670 meters, the Steinplan is the local mountain of Knittelfeld, Lobming and Rachau. Over the extensive forest and alpine pasture area of the Glein- and Stubalpe, marked hiking trails lead from all sides to the Steinplan summit with its unique view. Over the extensive alpine pastures and forests of the Glein- and Stubalpe, marked hiking trails lead from all sides to the Steinplan with its unique view. For a 1.670 m high peak, the Steinplan offers a panorama in a class of its own. In the south you can see the Stubalpe, Größing, Koralpe and the Karawanken. The Seetaler Alps with the Zirbitzkogel, as well as the first glacier mountains of the Hohe Tauern with the Hochalmspitze limit the view in the west. To the north, the Aichfeld spreads out in the valley and in the background you can see the peaks of the Seckauer Alps and Niedere Tauern, as well as the Eisenerzer Alps. To the east, the view extends from Voitsberg to Schöckl and Wildoner Berg.
